The weather at Shadow Cliffs has been HOT with the temperatures in the low 70 to the 100s
Water Temperature: 75 degrees, depending on depth.
Water Clarity: Visibility seems to vary between 10-15 feet.

The trout bite has slowed down because of the heat.

A fisherman was fishing the Island pond in a float tube and hooked 6 bass, including a 6 pounder. He was using a sweet beaver in a June bug color.

Anglers report catching 2 to 3 catfish per visit. The best bait to use for catfish is chicken livers and anchovies.
