Plug bite still good for Redding rainbows!

Healthy wild rainbows on the Sac in Redding are eating plugs right now!

Today we fished the Sacramento River in Redding looking for steelhead trout numbers and not hatchery keepers.  The bite was a little off with the weather changing, but we managed to experience a really good morning bite before things slowed down.  I'm going to let this storm blow over and then I'll be down river again looking for hatchery steelhead!

These wild Sac River rainbows are fun to catch and we always manage to catch at least a few nice fish!
