EAST WALKER RIVER September 03, 2017
The East is still running at around 315 right now and has been fishing pretty well on both the California and Nevada sides of the border. Most of the action is with nymphs though there have been a few good reports on streamers. The upper mile still seems to be the best area with lots of nice rainbows and browns showing with a few hogs in the 24 or 25 inch range being landed. Patterns to try: dead drift crayfish, zuddler, sculpzilla, dark lord, rainbow warrior, silver streak, micro mayfly, top secret midge, wd-40, fox’s poopah, z-wing caddis and buckskin caddis.

BRIDGEPORT RESERVOIR September 03, 2017
Bridgeport is still fishing very well, most of the action is over in Buckeye Bay fishing from boats. Most of the fish are still hanging out in the channels but there are some fish being caught out in a little deeper water too. There are a few anglers trolling and picking up some fish but the bait fishing still seems to be the best. Power bait, crawlers, mice tails and pinched crawlers are all doing well. The marina is open now so if you don’t have your own boat you can get a rental from them to get over to the other side!
