Well, unfortunately we haven’t had any angler reports for the area this past couple weeks, I think the weather has kept folks off the water around here, it’s been pretty cold and snowy lately. Good news is that the last few days we got some great snowfall, both here in town and definitely on the mountain! This will certainly help out the water situation for the summer! The weather is breaking some this week so if you are heading to the river I would be thinking of small midge patterns and maybe some streamers, this usually will do the trick this time of year! On the Nevada side you can probably still run some stonefly patterns as well! I still do not have the new Nevada Fishing License computer so if you are going to fish that side be sure to get your license before you get here!
Recommended Flies:
WD040 in olive and gray, zebra midge, flash bang midge, miracle midge, mercury midge, rainbow warrior, silver streak, micro mayfly, psycho prince, top secret midge, pheasant tail, lite brite prince, flashback emerger, micro stone, zuddler, sculpzilla, wooly bugger, hornberg.
FYI - The Nevada Department of Wildlife is re-vamping their fishing/hunting license program and will be sending Ken's a computer license terminal in February for our customers to purchase Nevada licenses. During the change over I have been asked to send in all my paper license books on January 1 so they can be reconciled with the department. This means that I will not be able to sell any Nevada licenses for about 4 to 8 weeks after the first of the year. If you're planning a trip to fish Nevada waters during this time be sure to get your license ahead of time, either online or from a Nevada license dealer! I'll keep you posted when my terminal arrives and we're online!

We didn’t get any reports from the ranch this week but with the warmer weather and lower flows it should be fishing great, there are still some stoneflies hatching so you can throw some stonefly nymphs in your fly box to cover that. Give us a call if you want to book some time on the ranch.
HUNEWILL POND March 04, 2018
We didn’t get any reports from the pond this week but the weather has still been pretty warm for this time of the year so the fishing out there should be pretty good. As long as it doesn’t get cold enough to freeze the pond over it should hold out for the duration!

We didn’t get any reports from the West this past week, but again, the weather has still been pretty warm so the canyon section as well as further downstream should be fishing pretty good, small streamers and attractor nymphs should do the trick up there.
