Bitterroot River Fishing Report
Winter is finally showing up on our rivers. Plenty of ice starting to form as well as slush floating down the river. You might have a couple hours later in the afternoon to wet a line, but it looks like that time is fading. Later this week we might see temps hit 40, which could change things a bit, but the nights are keeping things pretty cold. If you get out there fishing San Juans, Eggs, Double Bead Stones, Copper Johns and PT’s will be your best bet. Fish the walking speed water on the insides of the bends.
1/2 off Friday’s are still happening, every Friday all year long. (1/2 off your first dozen dries or nymphs)

Clark Fork River Fishing Report
Lots of shelf ice and slush floating down the river. It’s time to start tying and getting ready for next season.
Missouri River Fishing Report at Holter Dam
Probably the best consistent option right now and for the rest of the winter will be the Mo. This time of year and into the spring we spend some time over here. Crowds are way down and fishing is peaceful. From here on out if you throw pink nymphs you’ll be rewarded. Amex, Chzech, Scuds, San Juans, Wire Worms and Rainbow Warriors. The hardest part is finding out where the fish are. That will change once it gets really cold. Keep searching and once you find the depth and speed of water you’ll find the fish all day.
