Winter showed up again today. Fishing will be tough this weekend with colder weather back. End of next week looks to be in the 40’s again.
Blackfoot River
Lots of snow and ice up here. There are definitely open sections to fish, but there are better options like the Mo or even the Bitterroot.

Missouri River at Holter Dam
Typical winter stuff is the name of the game with pink being the color to go with… Amexs, Czechs, Lightning Bugs, Scuds, Ray Charles and Sow Bugs. People are really getting into the swinging for fish over there. It’s a text book river for two handed fishing and the fish seem to be into it too. Black Leech patterns are the way to go in the winter, but it’s streamer fishing and being willing to change up colors will help you figure out the bite.
